Help shape new resources to future-proof PhD theses
Added on 15 December 2025
The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC), in collaboration with the Open Book Futures project, is undertaking a study to scope the requirements for resources and/or training materials that support the long-term preservation of electronic theses (e-theses).
As part of this work, we are conducting a consultation to understand what training is most needed - the challenges, gaps in knowledge, and opportunities to better support effective e-thesis preservation.
We are inviting responses from colleagues working in higher education who are either:
-
involved in managing e-thesis submission workflows, or
-
involved in digital preservation activities
