Coffee Morning at Dublin City Library and Archives

The Digital Repository of Ireland are delighted to co-host an in-person coffee morning at Dublin City Library and Archives on Thursday 6 November from 10.30-12.00pm to celebrate World Digital Preservation Day 2025! At this coffee morning your hosts will reflect on some of the unique DCLA and other digital collections preserved in the Repository. This event also includes a tour of some of DCLA’s archival treasures. Please RSVP to this event – all are welcome to attend!

    Start2Preserve Webinar at the Dutch Digital Heritage Network

    From documents on servers to photo collections on CDs, organizations store digital data in many different places. But how can you ensure it stays accessible in the future? To mark World Digital Preservation Day 2025, the Start2Preserve practice network - a Flemish-Dutch initiative -  is hosting a webinar from Utrecht in the Netherlands designed to help beginners take their first steps in digital preservation. You can join the topics that are most relevant to you.

    Start2Preserve Meeting at meemoo

    At the same time as the Dutch webinar, the Belgian group of the Start2Preserve practice network will host a meeting at Ghent University, where beginners will learn about the first steps in digital preservation. Following the meeting, you can join the evening programme where they will connect with the iPRES conference in Wellington, New Zealand.
