A multifaceted cultural heritage organization consisting of the Getty Conservation Institute, Getty Foundation, Getty Museum, and Getty Research Institute, Getty is dedicated to the presentation, conservation, and interpretation of the world's artistic legacy.

With an active programme of digital preservation activities in place for more than a decade, Getty has played an important role in advancing digital stewardship across the cultural heritage sector. Since joining the DPC as an Associate Member in 2021, Getty has engaged with the Coalition's international community and contributed to conversations around the long-term preservation and accessibility of digital collections.

Lily Pregill, Collection Platforms Director at Getty, said: “As Getty's digital preservation program continues to grow and evolve, our partnership with the Digital Preservation Coalition has become increasingly valuable. DPC's expansion into the Americas marks an important milestone, bringing its expertise and collaborative community closer to organizations across the region.

“Becoming a Full Member allows us to deepen that partnership, extend DPC's exceptional training and resources to more of our staff, and participate more fully in the global effort to ensure long-term access to our shared digital heritage.”

Welcoming Getty's transition to Full Membership, Anna Perricci, Head of DPC Americas, said:

“We are delighted to see Getty deepen its engagement with the DPC through Full Membership. As a leading cultural heritage organization with significant experience in digital preservation, Getty brings valuable expertise and perspectives to our community. We look forward to continuing our work together and to supporting even greater collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Americas and beyond.”

The DPC looks forward to continuing its work with Getty and to its ongoing participation in the Coalition's international community of members.
