Sarah Middleton is Chief Community Officer for the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC)
Whether you are attending iPRES 2025 virtually, or you are simply curious about the latest in digital preservation, iPRES Radio provides a front-row seat to the global conversation happening in Wellington this year.
Running daily from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th November 2025, alongside the iPRES 2025 Conference, iPRES Radio is a relaxed, one-hour online session hosted via Zoom, and it is open to everyone - no registration for the main conference is required. It is a chance to connect, reflect and engage with the iPRES community, wherever you are in the world.
What is iPRES Radio?
iPRES Radio is an informal, interactive companion to the iPRES 2025 conference. Each day, the sessions will bring together digital preservation enthusiasts from across the globe, in three different time zones, to:
-
Review highlights from the previous day’s conference sessions
-
Watch selected recordings and exclusive behind-the-scenes content
-
Hear from on-site correspondents reporting live from Wellington
-
Share reflections and discuss key takeaways with peers
-
Suggest content for upcoming sessions based on your interests
Wherever you are in the world, iPRES Radio brings the iPRES experience to your screen! Each session runs for one hour and is timed to suit different regions*:
-
Session 1 (Australasia/Asia-Pacific): daily at UTC 05:00-06:00
-
Session 2 (Europe/Africa): daily at UTC 14:00–15:00
-
Session 3 (Americas): daily at UTC 19:00-20:00
*Some timings may be adjusted between now and event registration.
Led by the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC), iPRES Radio is an adjacent event of iPRES 2025 but it is guided by the same values as the DPC applies to all its events: inclusivity, respect and openness. The DPC is committed to creating a space where everyone feels welcome to share, learn, and connect - regardless of background, experience or location.
