Following the expansion of its consultancy services last year, the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is continuing to help organizations tackle digital preservation challenges with practical, tailored support.

Alongside the DPC’s wider programme of community activities, training, publications, advocacy work, and member support, the consultancy service gives organizations access to extra help when projects need dedicated time, specialist expertise, or an outside perspective.

DPC’s experienced consultancy team can support a wide range of digital preservation needs, including maturity modelling, policy and strategy development, forward planning, workflows, capacity building, and bespoke projects. Whether through advice, workshops, or strategic support, the DPC aims to help organizations move forward with confidence through practical guidance shaped around their goals and experience.

After working with the DPC consultancy team, Lisa Muccigrosso at Iowa State University said:

“Working with the DPC consultancy team provided us with practical guidance and an external perspective that helped us move our digital preservation planning forward with greater confidence. The support was thoughtful, approachable, and grounded in real-world experience.”

Available to both DPC Members and non-members, the consultancy service is designed to support organizations at every stage of their digital preservation journey - whether they are just getting started, are building on existing work, or addressing more complex preservation challenges.
