The DPC is pleased to offer one Career Development Fund travel grant to support a DPC Member attending the 10th edition of The No Time To Wait Conference (#NTTW10), taking place October 14 to 16, 2026 at the Filmoteka Narodowa – Instytut Audiowizualny (FINA) in Warsaw.
This Career Development Fund grant will provide a contribution towards the costs of travel and accommodation for attending NTTW 10 in person.. Grant applications are welcomed from DPC Members until 23:59 (anywhere in the world) on Friday, 31st July 2026. More details about the grant, eligibility and criteria are provided below.
About the No Time To Wait Conference
The No Time to Wait conference is back for its tenth edition, taking place from October 14 to 16, 2025 at the Filmoteka Narodowa – Instytut Audiowizualny (FINA) in Warsaw. No Time to Wait is a three-day conference dedicated to exploring open media, open standards, and digital audiovisual preservation. Organized by the Filmoteka Narodowa – Instytut Audiowizualny (FINA) and MediaArea.net, this event is part of a conference series and represents the tenth installment since its inception in 2016.

About the DPC Career Development Fund Grant
This Career Development grant will provide funding to support the costs for one DPC member attending the No Time To Wait 10 conference in person. This may be used towards any one or all of the following expenses:

Hotel booking for up to three nights (Tuesday 13th October – Friday 176h October) based on recommended/preferred hotels list of organizers

Contribution towards travel expenses (e.g., economy flight, train and/or public transport to/from Warsaw)
The amount of funding is at the discretion of the review panel and will be explicitly stated in the grant offer letter to the successful applicant.
Eligibility
DPC Members are eligible to apply for this Career Development Fund grant. This grant is not available to non-members. Prospective members are eligible if their membership application is approved by the application deadline of 23:59 on 31st July 2026. Please note that a DPC Member may submit a maximum of one application for this advertised grant for No Time To Wait 2026 (e.g., one application for a person representing the DPC Member organization). The main DPC Member contact will have final approval for who may apply on behalf of their organization. We recommend that any member organization which supports an application discusses appropriate outcomes and benefits for the organization prior to submission.
Individuals associated with consortia or funded through agencies that are members of the DPC are eligible. However, they must confirm their application with the main DPC contact within the agency before applying. The DPC may pass the details of applications to the main DPC contact within these organizations as part of their assessment.

DPC members may submit a maximum of one application for one applicant for this advertised grant. There cannot be multiple applicants representing the same DPC membership, so please coordinate with colleagues to ensure only one application is submitted.
