We are delighted to report that, following their nominations, Michelle Donoghue – Information Governance Manager at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Vicky Plaine – Head of Media Management at the BBC and Alicia Wise – Executive Director of CLOCKSS have been elected to join the DPC Board at the most recent DPC Board Meeting on 14th April 2023.
Well known already to many of the DPC Members, Michelle, Vicky and Alicia bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Board from their own different perspectives within the digital preservation community, as well as their respected positions within their own organizations.
Their election comes as three long-serving members of the DPC Board step down. Susan Corrigall of the National Records of Scotland, Tuan Pham from the University of Cambridge and John Sheridan of The National Archives (UK) have provided invaluable support to the growth and success of the Coalition during their respective terms, and the DPC Board and Staff thank them enormously for their contributions.
