The National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) has published its 2025 Fixity Survey Report, continuing the longitudinal study into fixity practices across the digital preservation community.
As the third iteration of the survey, following previous editions in 2017 and 2021, the report provides an updated view of how organizations are generating, recording, and verifying fixity information as part of their digital preservation workflows.
The report is accompanied by anonymised survey data and supporting documentation, all of which are now available in OSF and the Fixity Working Group webpage.
Alongside the full report, the NDSA Fixity Survey Working Group has also shared a short companion blog post highlighting some of the key findings from this year’s survey.
