Following the Digital Preservation Awards ceremony in Warsaw on 15 October, the celebrations continue with an opportunity to learn directly from this year’s winners!
The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) will host an online Digital Preservation Masterclass on 24 and 26 November, showcasing the very best work in digital preservation. The people behind the winning projects will share their approaches, discuss lessons learned and answer your questions.
Discover the award-winning work
This year’s award-winning work demonstrates the remarkable breadth of digital preservation: from keeping older videogames playable and making the loss of web content visible through art, to exploring DNA storage and preserving eyewitness accounts of the invasion of Ukraine. Other projects show how collaboration can open up access to public records and how maintaining essential infrastructure supports preservation across the community.
Learn directly from the winners
The masterclasses offer a chance to look beyond the award announcements and explore how this work happens in practice. What decisions shaped the projects? What challenges did the teams encounter? And what could their experiences help you achieve in your own organization?

Across two sessions celebrating good practice, innovation and collaboration, attendees will hear about a range of projects and have the opportunity to discuss the work with the winners. Whether you are new to digital preservation or an experienced practitioner, all are welcome to attend, learn and contribute to the conversation.
Save the dates
Registration will open soon. The masterclasses are free and open to all. Save the dates and visit the DP Masterclass event page for programme details and updates.
Meet the winners and revisit the celebrations
