Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Teaching Fellow within UCD School of Information and Communication Studies.

The School of Information and Communication Studies at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary teaching fellow. The successful candidate will ideally commence in early March 2019 (or shortly thereafter), and be offered a specified purpose contract covering maternity leave (estimated duration: 6 to 10 months). 

The appointee will be expected to teach and assess and act as module coordinator modules in the School and to engage in supervision of research and internships and wider scholarly and research activity. The post is developmental and the appointee will be supported to develop key aspects of their experience and skills in support of future career opportunities. Expertise in digital information management/digital preservation/digital curation is particularly important for this role.

Fixed Salary: €35,000

**Please note: This posting for a temporary teaching fellow in digital preservation has been extended until 14 February and the post has changed: a PhD is now desirable instead of required.**
