The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is delighted to welcome two new team members this month. Ellie O’Leary will join the staff as Administration Manager and Angela Puggioni as Community Engagement Manager.

Ellie OLearyAngela Puggioni sqEllie is a research student and recent graduate of the University of Glasgow and brings considerable skills to the role of Administration Manager having recently undertaken a similar role within the University itself. She has a strong interest in digital preservation with a particular interest in video game preservation, the topic of a research degree which she commenced earlier this year.

Angela will be known to many of the digital preservation community already from her work with the Dutch Digital Heritage Network. An experienced marketing and communications professional, she was also part of the organizing committee for iPres 2019. Angela will bring this experience, as well as her expertise in communication and community engagement to the DPC’s growing team.

“It is a very exciting year for the Digital Preservation Coalition.  We’re just about to launch our twentieth anniversary year and we are continuing to see growing demand for work around the World. Ellie and Angela will help us expand and co-ordinate the support we can offer members,” says William Kilbride, Executive Director of the DPC. “There is so much work for them to do, but the first and most important task is to give them both a very warm welcome to the DPC.”

Ellie and Angela will join the team on Wednesday 17th November.
