We're pleased to invite the digital preservation community to contribute questions about cybersecurity and digital preservation ahead of an expert panel discussion during the upcoming DPC Members Forum and Networking Event (4 & 5 June) at the KB National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague.
About the panel discussion
On the second day of our event, which is open to all*, the panel discussion 'Protecting Tomorrow's Legacy: Cyber Security and Digital Preservation' brings together leading experts to examine the critical intersection of cybersecurity and digital preservation. Panelists Gijs Meijer (DEN), Jeffrey van der Hoeven (KBNL), and Michael Popham (DPC) will draw from recent research, real-world experiences and community questions to explore current challenges, emerging threats, and solutions in protecting digital cultural heritage.
How to contribute your question(s):
This Community Call for Questions is an opportunity to engage with our panelists, whether you can join us in-person in The Hague or not:
-
Share your questions by email to angela.puggioni@dpconline.org before May 30th
We will incorporate as many community questions as possible into the discussion and will publish a summary of the session and the answers to community questions in a DPC blog post following the event.
* Registration for the DPC Members Forum closes Wednesday, May 28th, so there's still time to register and join us. DPC Members are invited to join for both days and non-members are welcome on day two of the event.
