The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Library has joined the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) this month, becoming the Coalition’s newest Associate Member.CUHK Full Logo Vertical CMYK Full colour

As a leading research institution, CUHK Library partners in the creation, access, dissemination and preservation of knowledge to support the Chinese University of Hong Kong in its research, learning and teaching. "We are delighted to join the Digital Preservation Coalition and look forward to strengthening our digital preservation practices through collaboration with the international DPC community", said University Librarian Benjamin Meunier.

Robin Wright, Head of DPC Australasia and Asia-Pacific welcomed CUHK to the Coalition, saying: “CUHK Library's membership strengthens our growing presence in Asia-Pacific. Their commitment to digital preservation and cultural heritage aligns perfectly with our mission to ensure a secure digital legacy. I look forward to collaborating with the team in Hong Kong!"

The DPC is an international charitable foundation which supports digital preservation, helping its members around the world to deliver resilient long-term access to digital content and services through community engagement, targeted advocacy work, training and workforce development, capacity building, good practice and standards, and through good management and governance. Its vision is a secure digital legacy.
