Members of the Digital Preservation Community are invited to attend a Digital Preservation Games Event online on the 19th of June from 6-8pm BST. It is completely free and open to all who wish to learn about digital preservation.
This event is about how we create games about digital preservation. The workshop will include:
-An introduction and description of the games we have already created, including a wonderful game developed by our very own Margaret Crockett.
-An introduction to Twine, and how we may use it to create narrative based linear games.
-How we create other types of games, such as image based games and role playing games with the use of AI.
-And lastly we should be able to find time to play a quick game or two during the event :)
Those interested in attending are asked to register beforehand, so that organizers can plan for numbers.
