The iPRES2019 Programme Committee is excited to announce the Themes & Topics for iPRES2019! Thanks to the digipres community, we received lots of ideas and suggestions for the 2019 Amsterdam programming.

Central Theme

The main theme in 2019 is Eye on the Horizon and aims to broaden the voices and approaches participating in the conference. In this spirit, the iPRES 2019 Programme Committee invited the digital preservation community to share their ideas in a Participatory #iPRES2019 Programme Design.

Registration now open for PASIG Mexico City, February 2019

The agenda and registration for the Mexico City Preservation and Archiving Special Interest Group (PASIG) meeting February 12-14, 2019 is now online at http://pasig2019.colmex.mx.

The two tier Early Bird registration fee is either $150 or $50, depending upon your location. The PASIG team have set out multiple agenda times for Lightning Talks since these have been popular in the past. The PASIG community will be notified at a later date about submitting Lightning Talk topics prior to the conference, though there will also be ad hoc submissions at the conference. The event will have bi-lingual translation.

The Archiving conference presents the latest research results on digitization and curation, provides a forum to explore new strategies and policies, and reports on successful projects that can serve as benchmarks in the field. Archiving 2019 is a blend of short courses, invited focal papers, keynote talks, and peer-reviewed oral and interactive display presentations, offering attendees a unique opportunity for gaining and exchanging knowledge and building networks among professionals.

The Call for Papers has been extended until 5th November.
