The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) will today begin announcing the finalists for the Digital Preservation Awards 2026, revealing the projects, initiatives, and collaborations shortlisted across seven award categories. Discover the projects, teams, and individuals shortlisted for their outstanding contributions to digital preservation around the world!

On 24 June, you can attend a hands-on workshop led by Dr. Tim Sherratt and inspired by State Library Victoria’s Code Club at the Edinburgh Futures Institute. In this session, the browser and scraping tools will be demystified and you will learn how to treat the web not just as a static resource, but as a living archive that you can explore, customize, and actively preserve. 

We are excited to send out a final reminder that this is the last few days to submit for Ad Hoc Sessions at iPRES 2026  — the more informal part of the programme perfect for experimental ideas, networking, and rapid‑fire knowledge sharing. It is a great way to get involved in iPres, whether it is your first time attending a conference or presenting or your 100th.
