Are you interested in organisational change, innovative archival practice, and working in a centuries-old institution in the digital world? Are you a team player, with excellent analysis and communication skills, and a dedication to continued professional learning? If so, this opportunity is for you.

The current digital era is an exciting time to work in archives. National Records of Scotland (NRS) is accepting increasing amounts of archival digital records, which are bringing new challenges and opportunities on everything from collections management to user needs. NRS needs to grow its digital archiving capabilities to ensure we can continue to respond to this change and preserve the record of modern Scotland. This post will play a key role in this mission.

Based in the Digital Records Unit, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to enable the successful transfer, preservation, and availability of digital records in the national archive. You will also have a unique opportunity to support a current strategic project, which is aiming to expand our digital archiving function.
