CLOCKSS will host an upcoming webinar on 30 April 2026 exploring the role of digital preservation within library and information science education, with a focus on Ghana.
The session will draw on experiences from the University of Ghana to examine how current curricula prepare librarians for the practical challenges of managing and preserving digital collections.
The webinar will feature Kwesi Sewe of the University of Ghana and Alicia Wise of CLOCKSS, who will discuss the skills, challenges, and strategies shaping how librarians safeguard research in a digital world.
The session will offer an opportunity to reflect on the future of digital preservation in library science and the knowledge and capabilities needed to support long-term access to digital content.
