The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is delighted to announce Artefactual Systems as the Headline Sponsor of the Digital Preservation Awards 2026.

A long-standing DPC Supporter, Artefactual has chosen to extend its support by becoming the Awards' Headline Sponsor. This sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to celebrating excellence in digital preservation and supporting the global community working to safeguard our digital legacy.

Angela Puggioni, Community Engagement Manager at the Digital Preservation Coalition, said:

"The Digital Preservation Awards shine a spotlight on the inspiring work taking place across our community and recognize the people and organizations making a lasting contribution to digital preservation. We are delighted to welcome Artefactual as our Headline Sponsor and look forward to celebrating the DPA 2026 finalists and winners together. Bringing the Awards to No Time To Wait in Warsaw will make this year's celebration particularly special, allowing us to recognize excellence alongside one of the world's leading gatherings of digital preservation professionals."

Organized by the Digital Preservation Coalition every two years, the Awards are the leading international celebration of achievement in digital preservation. The 2026 Awards have attracted the largest and most geographically diverse field of nominations in the Awards' history, with finalists representing a broad range of organizations, disciplines, and sectors.

This year's Digital Preservation Awards will culminate during No Time To Wait 10, the internationally renowned conference bringing together practitioners, researchers, technologists, and memory institutions from around the world. Hosted in Warsaw, Poland, the event provides a fitting international stage on which to celebrate the innovation, collaboration, and impact demonstrated by this year's finalists.

Reflecting on Artefactual's support for the Awards, Kelly Stewart, Chief Archivist at Artefactual Systems, said:

"At Artefactual, we believe that a strong digital preservation community benefits everyone. We are proud to support the Digital Preservation Awards because they celebrate the people, projects, and organizations advancing the field, encourage collaboration and innovation, and help strengthen the wider archives and digital preservation community for the future, all of which aligns with our vision of a world where cultural memory thrives."

The finalists for the Digital Preservation Awards 2026 have now been announced. Explore this year's shortlisted projects and join us in celebrating excellence in digital preservation when the winners are revealed at a glittering ceremony during No Time To Wait in Warsaw, Poland, on 15 October 2026.
