Bring your experience to deliver innovative services via the Library’s core digital platforms. You will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to ensure the Library’s technology platforms are well managed and accessible.

As the Library Technologies and Digital Platforms Innovator you will support the Manager, Library Technologies, Discovery and Access in the delivery of the Library’s operations and practice, and manage the Library’s digital platforms Alma, Primo, Leganto, and Bridges (Figshare).

In line with the Library’s Technology Strategy, you will manage a range of strategic and operational activities including support and maintenance of mission-critical systems such as Alma, Primo, and Leganto, managing and delivering the infrastructure for the University’s digital repositories such as Bridges (Figshare), developing and maintaining the library systems roadmap, developing and maintaining library system governance protocols for internal user access and authorisation.

With a capacity to engage with new technologies you will explore and implement strategic and innovative solutions to optimise the Library’s systems and technology infrastructure. Your success in this position will be aided by your ability to actively engage with system and service providers, platforms, consortia, and global initiatives on behalf of the Library to implement streamlined and sustainable workflows which support Library services.

Utilising your substantial staff management experience you will provide leadership to the Libraries Technologies Team to aid in the delivery of high-level and professional services and effective achievement of the Library’s priorities and provides expert advice at both strategic and operational levels

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
