You will bring your experience and expertise to deliver leading edge projects, innovative services via the Library’s digital platforms. In line with the Library’s Technology Strategy, you will manage a range of strategic and operational activities including support and maintenance of mission-critical systems such as Alma, Primo, and Leganto, managing and delivering the infrastructure for the University’s digital repositories such as Bridges (Figshare), and maintaining library system governance protocols for internal user access and authorisation.

The immediate focus of this position will be to manage the Alma Renewal Program - a 12-month program of work to optimise the Alma Library Services Platform.  This role will serve as Project Manager for the Alma Renewal Program and lead a diverse project delivery team. The program will be supported with business workflow analysts, technical support, communication and change support, and a robust governance structure.

With a capacity to engage with new technologies you will explore and implement strategic and innovative solutions to optimise the Library’s systems and technology infrastructure. Your success in this position will be aided by your ability to network, nationally and internationally, and actively engage with system and service providers, consortia, and global initiatives on behalf of the Library to implement streamlined and sustainable workflows to support services and access.

Your substantial staff management experience and leadership skills will support your team of professionals to deliver high-quality services that ensure the Library’s technology platforms are well managed and the Library’s priorities are achievement.

You will support the Manager, Library Technologies, Discovery and Access in the delivery of the Library’s operations and practice, manage the Library’s digital platforms and provide expert advice at both strategic and operational levels

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
