#DPClinic Aus

This event was originally planned for 27 October 2022 but didn't take place. Exact timing for the newly scheduled #DPClinic in Australia in January will be announced soon.

#DPClinic Aus is an informal online space to discuss a popular digital preservation topic. 
The topic for this session will be database preservation and our speaker (tbd) will talk about using the SIARD (Software Independent Archiving of Relational Databases) tools to convert and store database content.

We will provide a case study example of how the SIARD tools can be used to preserve an Ingres database to help agencies use the tools and understand how they work.

Participants are invited to bring questions, queries and challenges on the relevant topic, as well as stories of what has worked well for them; or alternatively just listen in to the discussion.

#DPConnect and #DPClinic are available to everyone in the digital preservation community, DPC Members and non-members alike, provided all participants are respectful and supportive of one another and adhere to the DPC's Inclusion and Diversity Policy.
