Not travelling to Copenhagen for iPRES 2026? Or looking for another way to connect with the conference community throughout the week?
Join us for iPRES Radio, the Digital Preservation Coalition's online companion to the International Conference on Digital Preservation. Running from Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 September 2026 alongside iPRES 2026 in Copenhagen, iPRES Radio offers live opportunities to catch up on the conference and connect with colleagues around the world.
Open to everyone, iPRES Radio offers an informal opportunity to catch up on conference highlights, hear from people attending in person, and join conversations with digital preservation colleagues around the world. Whether you're attending iPRES in Copenhagen, following the conference remotely, or simply curious about the latest developments in digital preservation, everyone is welcome. No registration for the main conference is required.
iPRES Radio is an informal, interactive companion to the iPRES 2026 conference. Across the four days, these online sessions will bring together digital preservation colleagues from around the world to:
Review highlights from the previous day's conference sessions
Watch selected recordings and exclusive behind-the-scenes content
Hear from on-site correspondents reporting live from Copenhagen
Share reflections and discuss key takeaways with peers
Suggest content for upcoming sessions based on your interests
Whether you're following iPRES from home, the office, or somewhere in between, iPRES Radio is your chance to stay connected to the conference and join the conversation from wherever you are.
With iPRES taking place in Europe this year, iPRES Radio is designed to help colleagues in other parts of the world stay connected to the conference. To make participation as accessible as possible, we'll host two live one-hour sessions on each day from Tuesday to Friday: one for colleagues in Australasia/Asia-Pacific and one for colleagues in the Americas:
Australasia / Asia-Pacific: 3-4am UTC / 11-12am SGT / 1-2pm AEST/ 3-4pm NZST
Americas: 8-9pm UTC / 12am-1pm PDT / 3-4pm EDT/ 9-10pm BST
*Some timings may be adjusted between now and event registration.
Throughout the four days, DPC colleagues and volunteer co-hosts will bring you interviews, discussions, and daily updates from Copenhagen.
The full hosting team will be announced soon, but as always, we'll be bringing together colleagues from across the global digital preservation community to help make iPRES Radio a lively and welcoming space.
Interested in joining the team as a co-host or correspondent? We'd love to hear from you! If you are interested in joining, please email sarah.middleton@dpconline.org
