#DPClinic September– Record Management and Digital Preservation

In this DPClinic we will hear from Ren Leming from the Information and Records Management Society and Ruth Kusionowicz from the Pension Protection Fund. This Clinic aims to start a conversation about the intersection between records management, particularly retention schedules and digital preservation.  

Records Management is a long-established discipline and retention schedules are a well-used tool across the information management sector in a wide range of organisations. As technology becomes an integral part of our daily lives, it is becoming more important that we look at how technology can improve and update our current information management procedures to help our digital preservation work.  

Who can use #DPClinic?

#DPClinic is available to everyone in the digital preservation community, DPC Members and non-members alike, provided all participants are respectful and supportive of one another and adhere to the DPC's Inclusion and Diversity Policy.
