DPC Australasia & Asia-Pacific is planning to hold a local DPC Community Building and Networking event for university members in our region to meet together and discuss some of the specific digital preservation issues facing universities. Universities often face a range of enterprise-wide DP issues as they are large, multi-functional organisations with a wide variety of different internal operational groups – including libraries, records management, archives, museums and galleries, and research data repositories. The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss these challenges with other DPC member universities in our region and to hear about some of the DP solutions they are adopting or considering.
The session will be held on Zoom on the 3rd of July 2025.
If you are interested in joining the session, please email robin.wright@dpconline.org
The DPC Community is guided by the values set out in our Strategic Plan and aims to be respectful, welcoming, inclusive and transparent. We encourage diversity in all its forms and are committed to being accessible to everyone who wishes to engage with the topic of digital preservation, whilst remaining technology and vendor neutral. We ask all those who are part of this community to be positive, accepting, and sensitive to the needs and feelings of others in alignment with our DPC Inclusion & Diversity Policy.
