#DPClinic September - Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMS)

#DPClinic is an informal online space to discuss a popular digital preservation topic. This month's clinic takes place on Friday 29th September at the slightly later time of 2:00pm UTC/3:00pm BST (click here for local times).

We often hear members of the community talking about Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMS) in relation to digital preservation – whether they are trying to procure one that includes at least some digital preservation functionality, or if they have an existing system and need to build digital preservation workflows around it, this remains a hot topic. In this session we will open up a discussion about DAMS and digital preservation with a series of lightening talks demonstrating a range of scenarios and perspectives. Speakers include Gillian Roberts from Historic England and Amy Rudersdorf from AVP. Do come along with your own thoughts and experiences with DAMS and digital preservation to share.
