10 Apr 2024 at 4:00pm - 10 Apr 2024 at 5:00pm AEST
Online (Australasia and Asia-Pacific)
General

The DPC’s Rapid Assessment Model (DPC RAM) is a maturity model for digital preservation that provides a quick and easy way to assess an organization’s digital preservation capability and highlight gaps and areas for future work. The model was first released in 2019 and is revised periodically as digital preservation good practice evolves.

This watch party of the DPClinic held on 26th March, focusses on recent work to update DPC RAM and will introduce some of the changes and new features that have been included in this latest release. The session will begin with a short, recorded presentation from staff working in the Good Practice team of the Digital Preservation Coalition and this will be followed by time for Q&A and discussion.

Come along to hear the latest updates on DPC RAM or to discuss how the model can help you to move forward with digital preservation.

Recordings

The recording from 26th March is also available to DPC Members and Supporters via this web page (login to DPC website required).

Who can use #DPClinic?

#DPConnect and #DPClinic are available to everyone in the digital preservation community, DPC Members and non-members alike, provided all participants are respectful and supportive of one another and adhere to the DPC's Inclusion and Diversity Policy.

DPC Inclusion & Diversity Policy

The DPC Community is guided by the values set out in our Strategic Plan and aims to be respectful, welcoming, inclusive and transparent - the same applies to #DPConnect sessions. We encourage diversity in all its forms and are committed to being accessible to everyone who wishes to engage with the topic of digital preservation, whilst remaining technology and vendor neutral. We ask all those who are part of this community and/or attending a #DPConnect session to be positive, accepting, and sensitive to the needs and feelings of others in alignment with our DPC Inclusion & Diversity Policy.
