Project Overview/Role Description

The Information and Records Assurance Advisor role resides within the Information Management function of the Information Services Organisation. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team that is expected to grow in scope and maturity over the next 2 years.

Deliverables

Reporting to the Information and Records Manager, the chosen candidate will help the organisation protect itself, and provide it with confidence that the information and records it uses are sufficiently secure to enable the business to fully realise its value against a back-drop of changes in organisational needs, threats and vulnerability of technology and information assets. The role holder is accountable for applying risk management throughout the lifecycle of an information asset or record, informed by a realistic view of risk and a clear understanding of the organisation and its objectives.
