This is a forward-looking, transformative role for an individual with a passion for a range of cutting-edge activities within digital scholarship. Your role will include building new digital collections, developing services in support of research, teaching and learning, and managing digital projects.

You will collaborate with academics and partners nationally and internationally, as well as Library staff responsible for metadata creation, data curation, and collection development. You will be based in the Library Digital Development team within Library and University Collections.

You will have experience working with databases e.g. MySql, scripting languages e.g. Python, and development tools e.g. Git. The applicant should be familiar with, or willing to learn, some of the following platforms/languages: PHP, NodeJS, Javascript; HTML & CSS; Linux/Unix.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held in the week commencing 3rd April 2017. This post is offered on a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed term basis for 9 months.
