Registration is now open for the international meeting and conference entitled ‘Acting on Change: New Approaches and Future Practices in Long-term Digital Preservation’.

The two-day conference, organised by the PERICLES Consortium in association with the DPC, will be held at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre, London (UK) on 30 November - 1 December 2016 and will examine a range of innovative research approaches and visions for future practices in digital preservation through a series of panel discussions and workshops from PERICLES project members and invited speakers.

The conference will feature an international group of inspirational keynote speakers and panellists - including Kara Van Malssen (AVPreserve, USA), Barbara Reed (Recordkeeping Innovation Pty Ltd, AUS), Matthew Addis (Arkivum, UK), Barbara Sierman (National Library, NL), and Pip Laurenson (Tate, UK) among others.

On the evening of 30 November the DPC will proudly host the ceremony for the prestigious Digital Preservation Awards 2016.

The conference will be followed by a third day featuring parallel satellite events, such as a PhD workshop and a Technology Transfer workshop dedicated to IT solution providers and software developers.
