The Society for Imaging Science and Technology have issued a call for papers for their upcoming ‘Archiving 2016’ conference to be held in April 2016. The conference presents the latest research results on digitization and curation, provides a forum to explore new strategies and policies, and reports on successful projects that can serve as benchmarks in the field.
Prospective authors are invited to submit original work for presentation at the 2016 conference in any technical areas relating to the following proposed topics:

  • New developments in imaging technologies (digitization of 2D/3D materials and of audio/visual materials)
  • Curation/management of images, and AV materials, digital art, social media, etc.
  • Imaging practices from around the world

The deadline for conference paper submissions is 4th October, 2015.
