The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is delighted to welcome Queensland State Archives (QSA) as the Coalition’s newest Associate Member.

As the lead agency for public recordkeeping in Queensland, Australia and custodian of the largest and most significant documentary heritage collection about Queensland, QSA holds permanent records of enduring historical value for the Queensland Government and local governments and is responsible for the management, preservation and access of the permanent records in its custody.

The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) welcomes the University of Calgary, as they become the Coalition’s newest Associate Member.

Bringing together over 300 terabytes of digital material from libraries, institutional and research archives, special collections, art galleries and a university press, the University of Calgary’s Libraries and Cultural Resources (LCR) is undertaking efforts to bolster the institution’s digital preservation capacities; safeguarding the authenticity, usability and accessibility of its rich digital assets.

The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is delighted to welcome the National Film & Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) as the Coalition’s newest Associate Member.

Established in 1984, the NFSA is Australia’s living archive with a mission to collect, preserve and share Australia’s audiovisual heritage. As custodians of over 3.3 million items, of which approximately half are digital, digital preservation is a core element of the organization’s mission to preserve and share its collection.
