Long term access to digital resources is an aspiration across the public and private sectors. It requires a diverse range of expertise if it is to be acheived. Working together means that DPC members can develop and implement their institutional means to ensure continuing access more quickly and more confidently - by learning from each other and by having more immediate access to the small but fast moving reasearch community working on digital preservation techniques.
