Lloyds Banking Group holds one of the UK’s largest and richest business archives, with offices in London and Edinburgh. The Lloyds Banking Group Archives & Museum is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional archivist to join the small but busy London team. The London archive holds the records of Lloyds Bank and its many and varied constituents, dating back to 1765.
You will undertake the full range of archival duties including cataloguing using CALM, contributing to the outreach programme and managing the enquiry and researcher services. You will also have the chance to be involved in the implementation of a new digital preservation system (Preservica).
A post-graduate qualification or equivalent in archives and records management is essential. You will ideally demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to work in a busy corporate environment.
