About the Event

Aye Preserve – Digital Preservation in the West of Scotland
Thurs 30 November 2017
09:30 – 13:30
The Talklab
University of Glasgow Library

Aye Preserve brings together individuals undertaking digital preservation in the west of Scotland and wider afield. The half-day event provides an occasion to discuss challenges and solutions and to share experiences across a network of organisations. Attendees will hear from fellow digital preservationists and will also be invited to ask questions and share their own experiences at an open session.

The University of Glasgow and DPC welcome you to celebrate International Digital Preservation Day at Aye Preserve on the 30 November. At the end of the session, the DPC will launch the Bit List of Digitally Endangered Species. The launch of the Bit List will reveal the digitally endangered species identified by the international digital preservation community over the past 3 months.

Attendance is free and lunch will be provided at the close of the session. Registration closes 24 November.
