The Coalition is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.  The business of the Coalition is managed by a Board of Directors who exercise all the powers of the Coalition subject to the provisions of the Companies Act, the Memorandum and the Articles of Association of the Coalition and to any directions given by special resolution. All full members of the Coalition have a seat on the Board of Directors.

Executive and administrative support to the Coalition is provided through the DPC’s staff, the Executive Director and the Administration Manager, based at the DPC office in York. Additional support for delivery of corporate objectives and member benefits are achieved through collaboration and input from DPC members, the commissioning of consultants and the harnessing of resources from external funding bodies. Members’ financial contributions and any other external funding to the Coalition and its expenditure are subject to company financial procedures and auditing.

Further information and news on the Coalition will be disseminated via the digital-preservation email list on JISCmail (to subscribe to the list or view its message archive see the Web pages at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/digital-preservation.html).

For member only communication there is the DPC-Discussion list also based on JISCmail.
